I was in full time employment since leaving education until May 2001.
In May 2001 wishing to pursue a career in the IT industry I realised that I needed a recognised commercial qualification.
I enrolled with the National IT Learning Centre, a leading computer training company able to provide both MOUS and Microsoft Certified Professional qualifications.
I qualified in January 2003 achieving MOUS Master, HTML, OCR Certifications, Javascript, ASP, mySQL and VB Script.
I have since then been working as a freelance web designer/developer for private customers and on behalf of web design companies in UK, Italy and Spain.
Not only a web designer...but an artisan...
As much as I enjoy developing virtual solutions I also take pleasure in employing more materialistic forms of art.I find it very satisfying to experiment and exercise my manual skills in the use of simple materials such as terracotta, wood, papier-mâché. I take particular pleasure in creating miniature scenes in the form of houses and dioramas.
